Compass Chronicles…

This journal is one of my favorite…

Every single part of book is made to look like minimum 100 years old. Oak wooden plates are from old rebounded Gospel dated from 1850. Wormholes and patina are originally. In the center of the front cover plate, below scratched and toned glass, is the imitation of medieval compass. The spine of the book are made of rustic leather with raised bands and brass details. Paper edges are carefully aged and gilded with special bookbinder mixtures.
